Buying the parts is the easy half. Never exceed a conductor's rated ampacity, and fuse every positive conductor as close to the battery as it will physically fit, because everything between the battery and the fuse is unprotected. A LiFePO4 bank needs a genuine lithium charge profile at every source, and must not be charged below freezing without a low temperature cutoff or a self-heating design. Never connect lithium directly to an alternator. Never run a generator in an enclosed or partly enclosed space, because carbon monoxide is odorless and kills. Permanent AC wiring is work for a qualified RV technician or a licensed electrician.

Pick the build that matches how you actually camp, then buy that list. Buying across builds gets you a 50 amp transfer switch you will never wire in and a self-heating battery you will never need.
- What order should I buy these in?
- On the campground ladder, shore power protection comes before everything else, because one bad pedestal can cost more than the rest of the list. On the boondocking ladder, battery capacity comes before the solar array, because generating more than the bank can store achieves nothing. Wiring and fusing are bought alongside whatever they connect, never afterwards.
- Are these prices current?
- They are the listed prices captured when the catalog was last refreshed, at the quantities each build calls for, and they are totalled from that data rather than typed by hand. Prices in this category move often, so treat every total as a planning figure and check the listing before ordering.
- Why do some items show no price?
- A small number of components in the catalog had no price in the listing data when it was last refreshed. Rather than invent one or quietly drop the product, those lines say to check the listing. They are excluded from the totals, so a total is never inflated by a figure we do not actually have.
